April
2002. The annual
helicopter training with the RAF was combined with a two-casualty incident
staged on Sgurr an Airgid above Morvich. The helicopter is a Westland
Sea King from D Flight, 202 Sqn, Royal Air Force, based at Lossiemouth.

2002. A joint exercise
involving cliff and shoreline rescue was held at Ardelve with Plockton
Auxiliary Coastguard, Kyle Lifeboat and the MCA Helicopter from Stornoway.
The helicopter is a Sikorsky S-61N operated by Bristow Helicopters on
contract to the Maritime & Coastguard Agency.
