RESCUE OPERATIONS
All operations by Kintail Mountain Rescue Team are done on behalf of Northern Constabulary as part of their public safety obligation.
The number of operations done by the team varies from year to year. Neither their number, nor the season, nor the nature of the incident is predictable.
Although many of these incidents are on the popular hills at the bottom of Glen Shiel, they also occur in Glen Affric, Glen Moriston, Attadale and Glenuig. The team also assists with searches in all parts of the Northern area.
